Adjusting the screen resolution of BlueStack

The resolution can be changed by editing the BlueStack's registry:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\BlueStacks\Guests\Android\FrameBuffer\0\Height

and

HKLM\SOFTWARE\BlueStacks\Guests\Android\FrameBuffer\0\Width

      There is GuestHeight/width, and WindowHeight/width. The guest sets androids resolution and window sets the windows resolution. Just make them both the same

    I felt like the resolution was bad since it didn't look sharp. I have a 1920x1200 monitor and changed the resolution to that. All it did was make a super small bluestacks and I don't remember the original height and width :(

      go here in regedit [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BlueStacks\Guests\Android\FrameBuffer\0]

      use decimal values Height:600 Width:1065

      sometimes i have that problem too. try opening a per installed app :Libraries\Apps\1Mobile Market ... i worked for me but sometimes the program starts but wont show on my screen and i have to end it in task manager and just keep clicking on the app until it opens :) hope it works for ya

    For display resolution 1366*768 you can set height 700 and width 750 in bluestacks registry...

    This technique did not work for me as the window got cropped and I was not able to select the correct options, so I downloaded a software called ResizeEnable a freeware that can resize all windows, now its working fine.

      Hold down Windows key + Shift key, then, while those are being pressed down, use left/right arrow to move to different screen.

    After changing the values in Regedit, you need to click on BlueStacks Agent in notification area and select restart. Still not all the resolutions work properly.

    I think the best resolution for Fruit Ninja is 810x600.

    You should be able to fix the problem with the rescaling failure by killing the program (i.e. stop the BlueStacks app process) and then restarting the program. Worked for me!
